Cynthia McKinney, born on March 17, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia, is a politician and was the Green Party nominee in the 2008 Presidential election. In 1993, she became the first African-American woman to represent Georgia in the House of Representatives. Known for her controversial belief that President George W. Bush had prior knowledge of the September 11th attacks, McKinney attended USC and Tufts University where she studied Law and Diplomacy. She supported unsealing records about the CIA’s role in assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., and Tupac Shakur’s murder while continuing to criticize the Bush Administration over the events of September 11th.
