Curtis Keene, born on November 21, 1978 in California, is a renowned mountain biker known by the nickname “American Dream.” He achieved success in downhill mountain biking for approximately a decade and represented the United States at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. In 2012, Keene made a transition to Enduro biking and promptly secured the overall championships title in the North American Enduro Series.
Prior to his fame as a professional cyclist, Keene grew up in Fremont, California and held a job as an electrician. His passion for mountain biking developed in 2001.
Keene is notably featured as the central figure in Red Bull’s web documentary series “On Track with Curtis Keene.” Additionally, his family owned the electrical company where he was employed.
