About Cornelia Jakobs
Cornelia Jakobs, born on March 9, 1992 in Nacka, Sweden, is a singer-songwriter and composer known for her work on the HBO Nordic series Bjornstad. She gained recognition after composing the single “Weight of the World,” which was featured in the show. In 2022, she participated in Melodifestivalen with her song “Hold Me Closer” and went on to qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Before rising to fame, Jakobs entered the music industry by auditioning for the talent show Idol in 2008. Additionally, she was a member of the pop music girl group Love Generation.
Jakobs is also recognized as the daughter of Jakob Samuel, lead singer of Swedish glam metal band The Poodles.
