About Corina Chiriac
Corina Chiriac, born on October 26, 1949 in Bucharest, Romania, is a well-known World Music Singer. She gained popularity for her music through albums like “Noapte Buna, Pe Miine” released in 1983. Apart from her musical career, she also ventured into acting and appeared in several Romanian films such as the 1972 thriller “Cu Mainile Curate.”
Prior to her fame, Corina Chiriac attended the National Theatre Institute in Bucharest during the early 1970s.
It’s interesting to note that she was involved in dubbing work and provided the voice of Ursula in the Romanian version of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”
Notably, Corina Chiriac is part of a family with strong ties to music; her father is the renowned composer Mircea Chiriac. Additionally, she was previously married to Virgil Anastasiu from 1993 to 1995.
