Cindy Williams is an American actress known for her role as Shirley Feeney on the television series Laverne and Shirley, which aired from 1976 to 1983. She was born in Los Angeles, California on August 22, 1947.
Prior to her fame in Laverne and Shirley, Williams appeared in the hit 1973 film American Graffiti as Laurie Henderson. She began her acting career with commercials for Foster Grant sunglasses and made her big screen debut in the Roger Corman film Gas-s-s-s in 1970.
In addition to her acting roles, Williams co-produced the popular Steve Martin comedies “Father of the Bride” and its sequel “Father of the Bride Part II” during the 1990s.
Williams married Bill Hudson in 1982, with whom she had a daughter later that year followed by a son in 1986. The couple separated in 2000.
