About Chris Bath
Chris Bath (born May 13, 1967) is an Australian journalist known for her work as the host of the seven Network’s Sunday Night and seven News Sydney programs. She began her career with NBN TV in Newcastle and gained recognition for her coverage of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
Before pursuing a career in journalism, Bath worked at Kmart and a restaurant following her decision to drop out of Sydney University. She later earned a scholarship to Charles Sturt University where she also worked at the campus radio station.
In addition to her journalism career, Bath appeared as a newscaster in several episodes of the television drama series All Saints from 2001 to 2008. Her personal life includes a son named Darcy from her marriage to music composer Denis Carnahan, which ended in divorce in 2008. In 2012, she married seven Network sportscaster Jim Wilson.
