Cheryl Pepsii Riley, born on October 18, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York, is an R&B artist and gospel singer. Her hit single “Thanks for My Child” reached #32 on the pop charts in 1988. In addition to her music career, she has acted in several of Tyler Perry’s stage productions including Madea’s Class Reunion and Why Did I Get Married?. Before pursuing music full-time, she worked as a nurse for handicapped children.
Riley released a comeback album titled Let Me Be Me in 2006. She married Mike Grace in 2003 and they have a son named John; however, the couple has since divorced.
