About cherish Finden
Cherish Finden is a renowned Singaporean chef known for her award-winning pastries and extravagant displays created out of chocolate and baked goods. She was born on December 20, 1111, in Singapore and currently serves as a chef.
Finden gained recognition while working as the executive pastry chef at The Langham Hotel in London. Throughout her career, she has achieved numerous accolades, including wins at the 1999 Iegho Culinary Competition and the 2000 Olympic IKA.
Prior to her culinary success, Finden started honing her skills by taking cooking lessons at a cookery school when she was just 16 years old. Additionally, she pursued studies in fine arts, graphic design, window display, and sculpture – all of which have contributed to her expertise in creating edible art.
Notably, one of Finden’s most challenging projects involved creating a massive display consisting of an impressive 2.5-meter-long train adorned with animals made up entirely of sweets totaling 8,888 pieces. This extraordinary creation took nine months to plan and bring to fruition.
In terms of flavor preferences for her chocolate desserts, Finden favors combining European and Asian influences. Expanding on this passion for unique flavors led her to collaborate with Cacao Barry’s Or Noir laboratory in Paris to craft her own signature chocolate design.
