Celeste Beard (born February 13, 1963) is an American convicted murderer serving a life sentence at the Lane Murray in Gatesville, Texas for the 1999 murder of her millionaire husband, Steven Beard. Before fame, she became pregnant and gave birth to twins at age 17.
Beard’s case has been covered on various news documentaries and true crime programs including American Justice, Snapped, Deadly Women, Vengeance: Killer Millionaires, Reasonable Doubt, and ABC’s 20/20. She claimed that her adoptive parent physically abused her as a child and attempted suicide during puberty. Beard married three times before meeting Steven Beard while working as a waitress at a country club in Austin,Texas. They married on February 18th 1995.
