About Carmina Villaroel
Carmina Villaroel is a Filipina screen actress and television host, born on August 17, 1975, in Laguna, Philippines. She is best known for her starring role in the Recuerdo de Amor series and for her hosting work on ABS-CBN’s Morning Girls. In 2009, she received three Star Awards for her acting and presenting work.
Prior to gaining fame, Villaroel began her career in the late 1980s with roles in films such as Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa and Kapag Puso Ang Naghari. Additionally, she hosted a weekend television show called Showbiz Inside Report.
In terms of family life, Villaroel was previously married to transsexual model Rustom Padilla from 1994 until 2002. In 2012 she married actor and director Zoren Legazpi. She has a daughter named Cassandra and a son named Maverick.
