Carmindy, born Carmindy Kathryn Bowyer on March 26, 1971 in Newport Beach, California, is a well-known makeup artist based in New York. She gained fame for her work on the TLC reality series What Not to Wear and has also contributed to major fashion magazines such as Marie Claire, Vogue, and Elle.
Before rising to prominence, Carmindy published her first makeup-themed book titled The 5-Minute Face: The Quick and Easy Makeup Guide for Every Woman in 2007. Additionally, she created a cosmetics line called Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy.
Born in Newport Beach, California, Carmindy later lived in both Miami, Florida and New York City.
