She was born on April 2, 1984, in El Paso, Texas. Her early screen credits include guest appearances in On the Lot and CSI: Miami.
In 2015, she appeared as the character Sooleawa in four episodes of the series Salem. Santana was raised in El Paso as the daughter of an Italian Catholic father and a Russian Jewish mother.
