About Cara Mund
Cara Mund (born December 28, 1993) is a professional model and pageant contestant from Bismarck, North Dakota. She is best known for her appearances in various showcases and competitions, including Miss North Dakota and Miss America.
Mund began entering pageants at a young age, competing in the Little Miss North Dakota, Miss Pre-Teen North Dakota, and Miss Junior Teen North Dakota pageants. She graduated from Brown University in 2016 with a degree in business entrepreneurship and organizations. During her time at university, she was also a member of the sorority Kappa Delta.
In 2017, Mund was crowned the winner of Miss North Dakota and went on to win the title of Miss America in 2018.
She was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota. Fun fact: Mund is a distant relative of Victoria Woodhull, who was the first woman to run for President of the United States.
