Candy Carson (born August 19, 1953) is an American family member best known as the wife of neurosurgeon and former presidential candidate Ben Carson. Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Candy has worked alongside her husband in writing four books including “America the Beautiful: Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great” and “A Doctor in the House: My Life with Ben Carson.”
Before gaining recognition as a public figure, she pursued higher education at Yale University where she also showcased her talent as a concert violinist performing with renowned ensembles like the Yale Symphony. Additionally, she holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
