Caitlin Upton, born on March 27th, 1989 in Lexington, South Carolina, is a former pageant contestant who gained fame after winning the 2007 Miss South Carolina Teen USA title. She went on to become a finalist in the Miss Teen USA pageant and also appeared in Cosmo Girl and Seventeen magazines. Additionally, she competed on the sixteenth season of The Amazing Race.
Upton first rose to prominence at the age of eighteen when a viral YouTube video captured her rambling and nonsensical answer to a question posed by beauty pageant judges. Despite this initial setback, she pursued opportunities in entertainment and modeling. Over time, she made appearances on Comedy Central, TLC, and MTV series.
After graduating from Lexington High School in South Carolina, Upton enrolled at Appalachian State University before relocating to Los Angeles, California to pursue modeling opportunities.
