About Brooke Shaden
Brooke Shaden (born March 3, 1987) is a fine art photographer and author from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She is known for her work which often features painterly techniques and square formats.
Shaden founded her own photography school called The Light Space in India, where she shares her expertise with aspiring photographers. In addition to her teaching efforts, she authored the book Inspiration in Photography: Training Your Mind to Make Great Art a Habit.
Prior to gaining recognition as a photographer and author, Shaden graduated from Temple University with a BA in film and English. Notably, at the age of 24, she became the youngest artist featured in the Digital Darkroom exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography.
Growing up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania played an influential role in shaping Shaden’s imagination and creativity. These qualities continued to define her approach to art into adulthood.
