About Brooke Boney
Brooke Boney (born April 15, 1987) is an Australian journalist known for her work on Triple J’s Breakfast Show alongside co-hosts Ben and Liam. She has previously served as a political correspondent for NITV and SBS, covering two federal elections.
Boney obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a major in Journalism from the University of Technology, Sydney. As a Gamilaroi Gomeroi woman, she frequently addresses issues concerning Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and shares her experiences as an Indigenous woman in Australia.
She grew up on Wonnaruah country in the Hunter Valley with her mother and five younger siblings.
