Bridget Jones Nelson, born on September 24, 1964 in Minnesota, is a screenwriter known for her work on the cult comedy series Mystery Science Theater 3000. Her association with the show began in 1991.
Before her rise to prominence as a screenwriter, Nelson grew up in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.
Not only did she write for Mystery Science Theater 3000, but she also performed in many of the series’ episodes. She married writer Michael J. Nelson in 1990 and they later became parents to two sons.
