About Beverly Barton
Beverly Barton was born on December 23, 1946, in Alabama. She is best known for her work as a novelist, particularly for The Protectors series of romance novels. In addition to this popular series, she wrote several other romantic and suspenseful works of fiction such as The Dying Game, Every Move She Makes, and Don’t Cry.
Prior to pursuing a career in writing, Barton attended the University of North Alabama. Her debut romance novel, Yankee Lover, was published in 1990.
Tragically, Beverly Barton passed away unexpectedly at the age of sixty-four. She spent her formative years in Alabama and Tennessee and had two children with her husband Billy Ray Beaver.
