About Beth Cordingly
Beth Cordingly is an English TV actress, born on November 1, 1976. She is best known for her role as Kerry Young on the British police series The Bill and has also appeared in recurring roles on Family Affairs, Funland, and Dead Set.
Before pursuing a career in acting, she studied theatre and English at Birmingham University and later attended London’s Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She furthered her education by obtaining a master’s degree in creative writing from Birkbeck, University of London.
In addition to her screen work, Cordingly has performed on stage in various productions including Othello, Semi-Monde, Once Bitten, and Children’s Children. She comes from a family with academic background; her father being historian and writer David Cordingly.
Cordingly resides with her husband Adam Speers who is a stage director. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2013.
