Aya Takamoto (born July 16, 1987) is a Japanese pop singer known by her stage names Aya and Dream Aya. She hails from Osaka, Japan. Takamoto entered the spotlight as a backup singer for Dream before officially joining the band as a full-time member in 2002.
Throughout her career, she gained recognition for her role as the leader of E-girls, an offshoot band of Dream formed in 2011.
In January 2020, after achieving success in the music industry, Takamoto decided to retire as a pop singer to pursue photography and graphic design.
In addition to her professional achievements, Takamoto got married in September 2021.
