Genie Francis is an American TV actress born on May 26, 1962, in Englewood, New Jersey. She is best known for her iconic role as Laura Spencer on General Hospital and later portrayed Genevieve Atkinson on The Young and the Restless. Over her prolific career, she has appeared in more than 1400 episodes of television.
Prior to her rise to fame, Francis appeared in various TV shows including Days of Our Lives, All My Children, and Murder, She Wrote. One of the highlights of her career was winning a Daytime Emmy award in 2007 for her role on General Hospital.
