About Ava August
Ava August is a pop singer born on August 19, 2005, in California. She gained popularity through her cover songs of popular artists on her self-titled Ava August YouTube channel and later released her first original song “You Let Me Fly.” Her talent was showcased when she appeared as the youngest contestant on season 16 of The Voice. Later, she made it to the top ten on American Idol’s season 19.
Before gaining fame as a singer, Ava was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of four and grew up being involved in competitive sports like soccer and softball. Her musical journey began in July 2015 when she started her own YouTube channel.
In addition to singing, Ava wrote a song called “Gone” alongside friends which won a competition and earned her a free recording contract. She is skilled in playing guitar, piano, and ukulele. Notably, she performed the national anthem at both a Los Angeles Angels baseball game and for the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium where she became the first person to do so.
Ava August comes from Southern California and has an older sister named Regan. As of now, she is signed to NEXT Models
