About Atiquah Hasiholan
Atiquah Hasiholan, born on January 3, 1982, in Jakarta, Indonesia, is a renowned movie actress. She gained prominence for her role in the 2009 Indonesian film Jamila dan Sang Presiden (Jamila and the President), which was submitted to the 82nd Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
Prior to her acting career, she pursued higher education at Monsah University in Melbourne, Australia, focusing on media and psychology. During her university breaks, she participated in her mother’s theater troupe honing her acting skills.
In 2006, Atiquah made her feature film debut with Berbagi Suami (Love for Share). Furthermore,[15] she appeared in Payung Merah (Red Umbrella), which won the Best Asian Short Film at the ScreenSingapore Festival in 2011.
Coming from Jakarta as the youngest of four children to Batak playwright Ratna Sarumpaet;’>Ratna Sarumpaet being her mother, Atiquah Hadhiolan is deeply rooted in Indonesian culture.
