Annette Strauss (January 26, 1924 – December 14, 1998) was an American consultant, philanthropist, and politician. She became the second female mayor of Dallas and its second Jewish mayor in 1987.
She was born in Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1944. Annette Strauss had two daughters with her husband, Theodore Strauss. Her legacy was commemorated with the naming of the Annette Strauss Artist Square in Dallas’ Art District.
