Anna Stankus was born on April 9, 1986, in Kiev, Ukraine. She is a talented gymnast known for her performances with Cirque Du Soleil where she skillfully combines elements of rhythmic gymnastics with circus hooping and contortion.
Stankus has achieved success in national and international competitions in various rhythmic gymnastics events including ribbon, club, ball, rope and hoop. Her journey to the top began at the prestigious rhythmic gymnastics school in Ukraine when she started training at the age of 4.
Her inspiration to create her unique contortion and hoops act came from watching videos of Cirque du Soleil artists. Stankus’ talents have taken her around the world as she has performed with companies such as Cirque Eloize and Cirque Le Noir.
Originally from Kiev, Ukraine, Anna Stankus later resided in Las Vegas, Nevada.
