Ann Reinking was an American dancer and choreographer who achieved fame for her performances in numerous Broadway productions during the 1970s and ’80s, including A Chorus Line, Chicago, and Sweet Charity. Born on November 10, 1949, in Seattle, Washington, she started her career as a chorus girl before gaining recognition for her work in stage musicals.
Reinking also made a notable appearance in the 1979 Bob Fosse film All That jazz alongside Jessica Lange and Roy Scheider. Her contributions to the world of dance were recognized with a Tony Award in 1997 for her choreography in the revival of Broadway musical Chicago.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Reinking had diverse personal experiences. She married Peter Talbert in 1991 after previous marriages to Larry Small, Herbert Allen Jr., and James Stuart. She was also a mother to a son named Christopher.
