Aliyah O’Brien (born May 7, 1981) is a Canadian TV actress known for her recurring roles in popular series. She gained recognition for portraying Holly Stewart in the Canadian drama Rookie Blue and Regina in the American series Bates Motel. Her television appearances also include roles in Ascension, Supernatural, and Smallville.
Prior to her acting career, O’Brien participated in musical theater productions while attending Spectrum Secondary School. She studied kinesiology at Camosun College and worked as a fitness trainer before transitioning into professional acting.
O’Brien’s film credits include performances in Maximum Conviction, Preggoland, and Monster Trucks. She was raised in Victoria, British Columbia within a family of Welsh, Irish, and Spanish heritage. O’Brien entered into a long-term relationship with Aleks Paunovic.
