Alison Hinds is a world-renowned music singer, often referred to as the Queen of Soca. She was born on June 1, 1970, in England and is best known for winning the Barbados Song Contest in 1992 with the duet “Hold You in a Song.” Prior to her fame, she moved to the island of Barbados with her mother when she was eleven years old.
In addition to her solo career, Alison Hinds collaborated with reggae singer Shaggy and other renowned artists on her album “Caribbean Queen,” released in 2010. She resides on a privately owned horse farm with her husband Edward Walcott and their daughter Saharan.
