Andrea Jin (born January 5, 1996) is a comedian and writer known for her stand-up comedy, which she shares on her andreajin Instagram account with over 160,000 followers. Originally from Shanghai, China, Jin began pursuing comedy in Vancouver before relocating to Los Angeles to further her career.
In October 2023, she appeared on the podcast The HoneyDew hosted by Ryan Sickler and made her late-night television debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden in October of 2022. Additionally, Jin has performed at various notable events such as the Moontower Comedy Festival, SiriusXM’s Top Comic competition, Seattle International Comedy Competition, CBC’s The Debaters show as well as the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
In an interview with Vice in January of 2020, Jin shared about her family’s initial lack of support for her comedic ambitions despite immigrating to Canada from Shanghai when she was ten years old.
