Andrea Hlavackova is a Czech tennis player born on August 10, 1986, in the Czech Republic. She is known for her successful partnership with Lucie Hradecka, with whom she won Grand Slam doubles titles at the 2011 French Open and the 2013 U.S. Open. The duo also secured a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Before rising to prominence, Hlavackova was born in Plzen, then part of Czechoslovakia. She showcased her talent early on by winning her first ITF doubles title in 2003.
Hlavackova’s professional achievements include being a member of the Czech team that clinched victory at the Fed Cup in 2012. Her older sister Jana Hlavackova is also a former tennis player.
