About Andrea Demetriades
Andrea Demetriades is an Australian TV actress known for her portrayal of Lina Badir in the television series Crownies. She reprised the role in the spin-off series Janet King in 2014 and 2016. Born on May 12, 1987, in Perth, Australia, she studied dance at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and communications and cultural studies at Curtin University. In 2006, she graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art with a Bachelor of Dramatic Art degree in acting.
In addition to her acting career, Andrea has garnered a significant following on Instagram. When not busy with acting roles, she sometimes teaches drama at a studio called Pulse and has also worked as a babysitter.
She comes from a family of four sisters; her father immigrated from Cyprus while her mother was born in Perth. Her mother’s heritage traces back to Andros, Greece. Athena is an artist while Costas works as both a Greek language teacher and translator.
