About Anastasia Kostaki
Anastasia Kostaki, born on March 26, 1978 in Greece, is a former professional basketball player. She gained recognition as the first Greek player to join the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), signing with the Houston Comets in 2006.
Kostaki discovered her passion for basketball at the age of nine and went on to pursue a successful career in the sport. In 2002, she made her debut with Cavigal Nice Sports Basket in France, marking her first professional team outside of Greece.
Family-wise, Anastasia was born to Konstantinos and Katerina and grew up with siblings Dimitra and Nikos.
