Amy Rodriguez is a professional soccer player from Beverly Hills, California. She was born on February 17th, 1987 and has represented the U.S. women’s soccer team since 2005. Known for her skill as a forward and winger, she achieved gold medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, as well as at the 2015 World Cup.
Rodriguez played for the Philadelphia Independence from 2010 to 2011 where she made an impressive mark by scoring 17 goals in just 37 appearances. Prior to her professional career, she played collegiate soccer for four seasons at the University of Southern California before making her debut in the WPSL in 2009.
Notably, Amy set a CONCACAF Olympic record by scoring five goals against the Dominican Republic in 2012. Off the field, Rodriguez married Adam Shilling in October of that same year and together they have two sons named Ryan and Luke.
