Amy Doan, born on April 20, 1980 in California, is an entrepreneur best known as the founder of the beauty brand Sugarpill Cosmetics. Her brand has gained popularity for its vibrantly pigmented nature and dedication to being cruelty-free.
Prior to her success with Sugarpill Cosmetics, Doan ran her own punk fashion line called Shrinkle. She began working on Sugarpill Cosmetics in 2005 and released her first collection for the brand on Valentine’s Day in 2010.
In addition to building her business, Doan’s beauty brand also became featured as the official makeup for Hello Kitty’s 35th anniversary celebration. She was born and raised in California.
