Amelia Ayris is an Australian actress and singer known for her role as Marta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at QPAC Brisbane. She has also appeared in films such as Living Space and The Top Secret Findings of Ethel P, as well as the TV series Grace Beside Me.
Ayris beat out over 1,000 young actresses to portray Marta Von Trapp before going on to co-host The Girls Speak Show on YouTube. She is managed by Gilchrist Management in Australia and Brave Artists Management in the U.S., with additional roles including serving as a junior ambassador for Bravehearts, Australia’s leading child protection organization.
Additionally, Ayris wrote, produced, and starred in a short film titled Short Sleeves. Originally from Adelaide, she has lived in both Cairns and Brisbane alongside her mother Kristie.
