About Amber Torrealba
Amber Torrealba is a professional surfer and filmmaker born on July 1, 1990 in Melbourne, Florida. She has achieved the status of a three-time world champion skimboarder and has split her time between Florida and California. In addition to her success in surfing, she has made waves as a producer, director, editor, and DP for various brands as well as her own brand.
Prior to gaining recognition in the surfing world, Torrealba was an active skateboarder during high school and even sponsored riders such as Tyson Peterson before he turned pro. She later ventured into skimboarding at the age of 17. Notably, she is a spokesperson for Adobe and represents their editing program Rush. Her work extends to collaborations with companies like Red Bull, Body Glove, Etnies Freestyle Watches, Victoria Skimboards among others.
Torrealba comes from Melbourne where she grew up alongside her sister who happens to be the musician known as Lush Agave.
