About Amanda Du-Pont
Amanda Du-Pont (born June 26, 1988) is a prominent TV actress hailing from Eswatini. She gained fame for her portrayal of Christelle in the South African crime drama Task Force and as Nompumelelo Mthiyane in the soap opera Skeem Saam. Additionally, she made an impression with her role in the 2014 film Nompumelelo Mthiyane and as a host on Real Goboza.
Prior to making a name for herself in acting, Du-Pont earned a bachelor’s degree from the South African School of Motion Picture and Live Performance before receiving a scholarship to attend the New York Film Academy.
Notably, she has been involved in high-profile relationships including one with rapper-turned-convicted-murderer Molemo Maarohanye (“Jub Jub”).
Born into Swazi royalty, Du-Pont spent her younger years in Manzini, Swaziland and Mpumalanga, South Africa. She comes from diverse heritage including French, Portuguese, Chinese descent alongside her Swazi roots.
