Amanda Bearse is an American TV actress best known for her role as Marcy D’Arcy on the Fox hit sitcom Married…With Children from 1987 to 1997. Born on August 9, 1958, in Winter Park, Florida, she studied acting at New York City’s Neighborhood Playhouse under Sanford Meisner.
Aside from her iconic role in Married…With Children, Bearse has also appeared in films like Fright Night and has been a part of The Big Gay Sketch Show. She is also known for directing several episodes of Married…With Children.
