About Almudena Cid Tostado
Almudena Cid Tostado, born on June 15, 1980, is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast who made history by becoming the first gymnast to appear in the final of four consecutive Olympic Games -1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008. She is also the first Spanish gymnast to achieve this feat.
Cid began training in gymnastics at age 6 and joined the Spanish national team in 1994 when she was just 14 years old. Aside from her accomplishments in sports, Almudena has also ventured into modeling and signed contracts with Nike and worked as an underwear model.
In her personal life, Almudena married Christian Galvez in 2010.
