About Ally Condie
Ally Condie is a Young Adult author born on May 15, 1978 in Utah. She is best known for her New York Times bestselling book series, the Matched Trilogy, which was optioned by the Walt Disney Company.
Prior to her literary success, Condie studied English education at Brigham Young University and taught high school English in Utah and upstate New York. She also published the Yearbook Trilogy with Deseret Book from 2006 to 2008.
Condie currently resides near Salt Lake City with her husband Scott and their four children. She has two sisters named Elaine and Hope, as well as a brother named Nic.
