About Allyson Grey
Allyson Grey, born on March 3, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland, is a prominent painter recognized for her visual abstraction and Secret Writing paintings. She has served as a teacher at Tufts University and the Boston Museum School while sharing her brightly colored psychedelic paintings with over 260,000 followers on Instagram.
Prior to gaining widespread recognition for her artistry, Grey earned a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Tufts University in 1975 and commenced sharing her paintings through Instagram in October of 2013. In addition to her artistic endeavors, she co-founded the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors in 2008 which emphasizes creativity as a spiritual path.
Her daughter, Zena Grey, is also known for her work as an actress.
