About Aliona Moon
Aliona Moon, born on May 25, 1989 in Chisinau, Moldova, is a pop singer. She gained widespread recognition for her performance of the song “O Mie” at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013. Prior to that, she had served as a backup vocalist to Pasha Parfeny at the contest the year before.
Some of her popular solo tracks include “Planeta Ta,” “Loc Pentru Dragoste,” and “Voi Fi.”
Before rising to fame, Aliona started her journey into the entertainment industry by competing in the reality TV show Star Factory where she emerged as the public’s favorite. Following this success, she formed the pop band Thumbs Up with two co-finalists from the show.
In addition to her Eurovision achievements, Aliona has won awards as a solo artist at various music festivals worldwide such as Martisor Dorohoian and Dan Spataru festivals.
