About Alicia Craig
Alicia Craig, born on June 14, 1982, is an American distance runner known for her accomplishments as a two-time NCAA 10,000 meter champion. She hails from Gillette, Wyoming and attended Stanford University before pursuing her career in running.
In 2004, she set the women’s collegiate 10,000-meter record. Unfortunately, her personal life was marred by tragedy when her husband Ryan Shay passed away while competing in the 2008 Olympic Marathon Trials.
