Alice Amter is an English-born TV actress, best known for her recurring role as Mrs. Koothrappali on the comedy series The Big Bang Theory. She was born on May 11, 1966, in England.
Before pursuing acting, she earned degrees in International Relations and Modern Languages from the University of Wolverhampton. Amter has made guest appearances on General Hospital, Presidio Med, Judging Amy, Chasing Life, and The Mentalist.
