Alexandra von Furstenberg is a stylist and designer known for her work in creating furniture and home accessories. Born on October 3, 1972, in New York City, New York, she has gained recognition for her specialization in acrylic and lucite creations. With over 60,000 followers on Instagram, she frequently shares her designs with the public.
Von Furstenberg attended Parsons School of Design and Brown University where she studied Art History and Costume Design. After working as a Creative Director and Director of Images, she shifted focus to personal design work upon relocating to Los Angeles in 2005. Her brand was officially launched in 2008.
She also owns a Brick-and-Mortar store located on Robertson Boulevard that showcases her tables, trays, bowls, boxes,and frames – all part of the collection designed by Alexandra herself.
Von Furstenberg is married to Dax Miller who is also a fellow designer.
