Tina Weymouth, born on November 22, 1950 in Coronado, California, is a renowned bassist. She is best known as a founding member of the new wave band Talking Heads and for co-founding the band Tom Tom Club, recognized for their hit “Genius of Love.” Prior to her music career, Weymouth was a cheerleader in high school. In addition to her musical talents, she has also delved into music production and assisted Happy Mondays with their album Yes Please!

Weymouth’s family background includes being the daughter of former U.S. Navy Vice Admiral Ralph Weymouth.
