Shoshana Bean Feet

Shoshana Bean is a stage actress born on September 1, 1977, in Olympia, Washington. She is most well known for her portrayal of Elphaba in the Broadway musical Wicked and as Shelley in the Tony-winning production of Hairspray. Additionally, she has released solo music albums Superhero (2008) and O’Farrell Street (2013).

Bean attended the Musical Theatre program at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music alongside her fellow Wicked cast member Kristy Cates. After relocating to New York in the early 2000s, she appeared off-Broadway in a production of Godspell.

In addition to her acting career, Bean wrote and starred in a musical titled Dear John Mayer. She was born in Olympia, Washington but primarily grew up in Portland, Oregon.
