Akothee was born on April 8, 1983 in Kenya. She is a world music singer who gained recognition for her hit singles “Give It To Me,” “Yuko Moyoni” and “Sweet Love.” With over 3.5 million followers on Instagram, she has garnered a large following. Prior to her music career, Akothee grew up in Kisumu before relocating to Mombasa.
Aside from her musical endeavors, Akothee is also an entrepreneur, having established Akothee Safaris and Morning Star Diani. In terms of family life, she unfortunately experienced the loss of twins during pregnancy in 2016 with her fiancée at the time.
