Sarena gained prominence for her portrayal of Chandra Mehta in the series “How to Be Indie” and as the lead role in the Disney Channel original movie “Radio Rebel.” Additionally, she played Breann in the TV show “Pretty Hard Cases,” amassing over 50 episodes worth of appearances throughout her career.

Prior to gaining recognition as an actress, Sarena completed her studies at The National Theatre School of Canada. She made her professional acting debut in 2009 and has since guest-starred in various shows such as “Flashpoint,” “The Border,” and “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”
